On September 2011 it was Barcelona's turn to host Converse international project BLOCK PARTY, an open air celebration of some of the best street art and street sport that Spain had to offer. Created by Converse as part of the brand’s ongoing commitment to be a platform for creativity, the event was open for the public with over 1500 assitants. The event included a skate demonstration by the Converse Skate team, a Live Hip-hop act by Duddi Wallace, a.k.a. Huracán Wallace, one of the most legendary MCs from the Spanish music scene, live graffiti by renowned street artists Kram, Fine Rats and Zosen, MC battles with Dawizard,Breakdance Competition. The project included product seeding, national press coverage, guerilla marketing, concert booking and photo and video coverage.
